ISTE 2013 San Antonio June 23 - 26
Adobe Premiere Pro CS6 A-Z | Saturday, June 22: 8:30 am - 3:30 pmAdobe Premiere Pro CS6 is a very powerful video editing application but most users only scratch the surface of its capabilities. In this workshop participants will be provided self guided modules that include excellent stock footage, well organized video tutorials and examples all wrapped in a web based interface. This approach individualizes instruction and allows users to move at their own pace and maximizes the instructor interaction with the participants because they can focus on their own instructional needs. These materials are all copyright free and can be used by the participants in their own classrooms.
Feedback: 3.9/4 Average score
Participant Comments:
1.Joe is the best! Very inspiring!!! Great for the classroom!!
2.First class in five years where I can actually say I learned how to use the product and how to implement it. Great instructor.
3.Very good workshop
4.Joe Dockery is a polished presenter who clearly knows his stuff. He was sensitive to the different skill levels of class participants and was able to discuss and demonstrate simple and more advanced concepts in a way that enabled everyone to advance their knowledge, no matter what their skill level coming into the class. The atmosphere was friendly and stress free. He never lost patience and was able to keep us moving along so that all the intended material was covered. Well done!
Techniques for Integrating iPadography into Every Classroom | Wednesday, June 26, 8:30 - 11:30 am
I like to start my iPad workshops with some basic tools and tips for using an iPad. Then we will launch into a variety of activities focused on exploring ways to integrate iPadography into every classroom. Then participants will explore these concepts through a QR code scavenger hunt activity. Finally, we will demonstrate our understanding of the concepts by creating a collage, annotating images with Skitch to upload into Evernote, and editing images in Photoshop Touch.
Feedback: 4/4 Average Score
Participant Comments:
1.One of my two favorites of the conference!
2.Joe did a fantastic job and I learned a lot! We not only learned about the apps and lots of accessories for using the iPad but also had time to do some hands on photography and implemented the apps! Very well done!
